The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
Overview:
The Application Business Analyst will play a key role in coordinating key strategic initiative to include:
coordination with service lines on future state of organization, coordination of financials and cost reductions between the application services line, finance team and IT service lines, coordination of the application team to implement IT processes working with appropriate service lines and being the point of contact for application service lines for application migrations for Multi-cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboration and coordination with service lines on developing future state.
- Understanding overall financial model and working with service lines, finance and Apptio team to align forecast and budget.
- Collaborate with Service Lines to help business stakeholders prepare for financial planning activities forecasting, green book, black book.
- Manage application cost reduction tracker and working with service lines to update.
- Collaboration with Technical Service team in implementing key processes by working across the services lines to develops plans and track application service line status such as CMDB, event, change management, SIAM.
- Coordination with PMO on resource and demand processes.
- Point of contact between the Application service lines and the multi-cloud team for application migrations.
- Continuously improve and mature process or function by identifying gaps, determining solutions, seeking appropriate consensus, and implementing.
- The individual must be able to drive and facilitate processes using data to support decisions, recommendations and drive cost issue to closure.

Experiences/Education Required:
- Bachelor s degree
- 5-7 years of work experience
- Operational experience
- Work experience that required them to communicate at /facilitate meeting with groups of ten or more people
- Experience managing small to medium size projects

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
