The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
Scope of Position (i.e. projects involved with and role within group) and Day to Day
Responsibilities::
Provide breadth of understanding across the SAP applications with a more in-depth focus on specific modules
Provide subject matter expertise (SME) as it relates to SAP
Accountable for SAP support processes , metrics, and improvements
Ensure Service Level Agreement and Annual Operating Priority metrics are met
Participate in on-call rotation
Drive to root cause; accountable for solutions and closure of related corrective actions and preventive actions (CAPA's)
Understand Sarbanes-Oxley support requirements and ensure compliance for processes in scope
Cross-team collaboration with teams supporting SAP infrastructure
Participation in rapid response sessions
Travel Requirements (please note if international):
Minimal travel; some international travel may be required
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
Primarily week days during regular business hours with on-call rotation requiring off hours
