0 Painted Post, NY Painted Post, NY Full-time Contract Full-time Contract $24 - $28 an hour $24 - $28 an hour Your responsibilities Ensures timely flow of material from shop and suppliers to meet master planning schedule (MPS).
Takes action as needed to support commitment to clients.
Loads shop orders, purchase orders, etc.
to support master planning system as required.
Ensures tooling/fixturing is available prior to release of routing to shop.
Develop and monitor actual and projected capacity load reports for assigned areas.
Monitors and expedites cost control centers or marketing/engineering for known shortages and errors at assembly stage.
Communicate with client facing, supply chain, engineering and manufacturing operations managers on a regular basis to ensure that all planning tools represent current activity process flows and cycle times.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree (B.
S.
) in Engineering, Operations Planning, Logistics or related technical field with a minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of computerized inventory and activity management systems and procedures including tools such as SAP, MRP, Oracle, Scheduling, Manufacturing Scheduling, Demand Management, MS Project or similar systems/tools.
APICS Certification required.
Must be adaptable/flexible to constant changes in department resources, applications and requirements.
Must be able to organize and prioritize workloads to maximum efficiency.
