Painted Post, NY Painted Post, NY Contract Contract $27 - $28 an hour $27 - $28 an hour Order Manager Position Overview Primary contact for client communications and order execution Accountable for client satisfaction, sales forecast, delivery performance Order Manager is a team-oriented position working with sales, supply chain and logistics Responsibilities Primary contact for client for order progress reporting Provide financial forecasting and delivery performance reporting as required Meet regularly with functional leadership to review production performance, discuss issues, get delivery commitments Proactive focus on accuracy of order entry, scheduling and order execution Provide detailed scheduling reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis for key areas of manufacturing and purchasing Execute to the master production schedule.
Identify shortcomings while offering solutions Offer delivery alternatives when necessary for purchased and manufactured items Analyze the flow of purchased and manufactured materials from order entry through shipment Identify process issues, Material, Routing, BOM, NC Programming, Tooling that may impact the production schedule Coordinate outside vendor operations with respective parts families Manage client inspections, including quality dossiers as required Minimum amount of travel with the position Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Minimum of Associated Degree in a related field Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, MS Project) Excellent communication skills, organized, team player Self-motivation to find efficient and effective ways to accomplish end goals Ability to multitask and work under time constraints to meet deadlines Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Previous factory environment experience ERP, SAP or Oracle Production Planning experience APICS CPIM certified, APICS courses considered MRP Planning experience Job Type:
