Scope of position:
Equipment Project Engineer in the Equipment Engineering group. Utilize Project Management subject areas to handle equipment projects from start to end. Areas to support include Batching, Forming, Firing, Finishing, and Facility. Follow plant design, acceptance testing, and transfer criteria standards to deliver robust engineering solutions to support process, safety, and material handling requirements. Day to day
Responsibilities:
Meet with project sponsor/partners to define project scope, cost, resource, and schedule Leading projects by utilizing Project Management Tools like Project Initiation (PI) sheet, Role & Responsibility Plan, Communication Plan, MS Project Schedule, Appropriation Request (AR), Budget Sheet, Request for Quote/Proposal (RFQ)/(RFP), Factory/Site Acceptance Test (FAT/SAT) criteria, Installation Plan/Schedule, Project Transfer Criteria, etc. Solve project issues through communication, negotiation, using thorough problem-solving approaches. Administrative work such as tracking fabrication progress, budget spending, documentation development, spare part's purchasing, etc. Coordinate design reviews, installation of equipment, start up, debug, and transfer to production Close out project by capitalizing equipment, finishing documentation, transferring of spare parts, completing transfer criteria, etc. Host various project meetings which invite key project members, vendors, partners, and review panels. Presenting in plant project review meetings Support project receivership on equipment Support production and maintenance on mechanical design, process improvements, equipment trouble shooting Travel Requirements:
Plant based projects. Domestic/international travel might be required during vendor meetings for project kick-off/equipment fabrication/FAT. Hours of work/work schedule:

Experience:
We require a BS degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent We are seeking 5
year of experience as a project engineer on equipment-based projects Proficient with Microsoft Office 2016 or later, or Microsoft 365 Ability to develop project related documents including but not limited to what was mentioned in Leading project team in a manufacturing setting Strong problem-solving skills Written & oral communication skills Leadership skills Mechanical aptitude and technical curiosity
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
